floridamanornot.com is operated by WASD s. r. o., Kríková 8695/3, 821 07 Bratislava, Slovakia — the publisher named in the privacy policy and the terms of use. The game is an independent project: it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any newspaper, Reddit or the @_FloridaMan account. Real headlines are quoted from their publishers and always linked to the original article, as explained on the about page.

How to reach us

E-mail is the channel we read: wasdsro@gmail.com. We answer within a few days. If you are writing about a specific headline, include its text and the date of the daily set, and we will be faster. Please do not use this address to pitch advertising or link placements — such messages are ignored.

Corrections and removals

If a "real" headline is wrong or misattributed, its article has gone offline, or you are the subject of a headline and want it removed from the game and the headline library, e-mail the address above with the headline text and, if you have it, the URL of the article. We remove or correct the headline within 7 days of your e-mail.

We never publish the name of a private person beyond what the source headline itself said, and fake headlines are fiction: they do not describe real people, companies or places smaller than a city.

Press and licensing

Journalists and researchers are welcome to quote the game, share screenshots and cite real headlines with a link to the original article. Our X account, @floridamanornot, posts each day's teaser and reveal. For anything beyond that — embedding the game, reusing the name or artwork, syndicating content — write to us first.

Report a bug

Tell us which browser and device you were using, the date of the daily set you were playing, the URL of the page you were on, what went wrong and, if you have one, a screenshot. That is usually enough for us to reproduce and fix it.

Advertising and privacy questions

The site has no accounts and no cookies of its own; what stays in your browser and what reaches our servers is explained in the privacy policy. Advertising is served by Google AdSense, and you can change or withdraw your consent choices at any time via the "Privacy settings" link in the footer.
